Projected retirement corpus

Assumes your PF wage, and hence contribution, stays constant — in practice it usually rises with salary increments, so this is a conservative estimate. Excludes the EPS portion, which is a separate pension benefit rather than a withdrawable corpus.
How EPF contributions work
Under the EPF scheme, the employee contributes 12% of Basic + DA to their Provident Fund. The employer also contributes 12%, but this is split: 8.33% (capped at ₹15,000 of wages, i.e. a maximum of ₹1,250) goes to the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS), and the remaining 3.67% goes to the EPF account.
The statutory wage ceiling for mandatory PF is ₹15,000 per month. Many employers contribute on the actual Basic + DA instead — use the checkbox above to compare both.
EPFO credits interest annually — 8.25% for FY 2025-26, unchanged for the third year running — calculated monthly on the running balance in your account.
